SHIPPING AND HANDLING CHARGES: Janvil ships orders Via FEDEX & United States Postal Service. Shipping and Handling charges are based on the shipping carrier rate charges according to the package weight and destination type and location.
SHIPPING TIMES: Shipment of orders may take 1-2 business days to be processed before shipping. Orders shipped by United States Postal Serive Priority Mail usually take 2-3 days for delivery. Janvil reserves the right to change the shipping carrier company from USPS to FEDEX if this service would be better suited for a Timely Delivery. If this change is made, no additional charges will apply.
FEDEX 2 Day Shipping: FEDEX 2 DAY Shipping charges are based on current FEDEX rate costs. Janvil will not ship via FEDEX 2nd Day service to PO Boxes, APO's or anywhere outside of the USA. FEDEX 2nd DAY shipping orders must be received by 11:00am Eastern time, Monday – Thursday, in order to be shipped the same day unless otherwise noted. FEDEX does not consider the day of pick up or weekend days and holidays as part of the 2nd day shipping service time guarantee. FEDEX expedited shipping will not be available on days the Janvil Customer service phone support is closed. (I.e. Holidays or plant shut down times). During these times, these orders will be shipped on the day that Janvil Customer Service reopens. For more on FEDEX 2nd day service, go to FEDEX.com. Janvil makes no guarantees or warranties that items will be delivered within two business days when Second Day shipping option is requested.
Janvil reserves the right to change an order with 2nd day shipping requested to FEDEX Ground Service or Priority Mail if those services are able to deliver packages in the same two business day period. Orders from the following states will be automatically edited without notice (AL, AR, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, KY, IN, MI, MD, MO, MS, NC, NJ, OH, PA, SC, TN, VA & WV). Any price differences will be credited to the method of payment.
Refused/Undeliverable Packages: Please note that packages that are refused by receiver for any reason other than items damaged by the shipping company will receive a refund less all shipping charges that are charged by the shipping carrier and are subject to all restock fees. If the shipping carrier charges Janvil to return packages that are refused, this cost will be deducted from refund.
Address Correction Fees:
The buyer agrees that if an incorrect address is proved to us on the completed order form and a fee is assessed by the shipping carrier to correct the error, It will be the responsibility of the buyer to reimburse Janvil for these correction charges and fees. A separate bill will be sent to the buyer and payment must be returned to us. If a fee is assessed and the buyer refuses to reimburse Janvil for the error, it is understood that Janvil will have the right to turn the amount of the fee plus any court cost and additional collection fees over to a collection agency and will report the debt to the appropriate credit bureaus.
Failing to make arrangements with Shipping carrier when a package is “signature is required”: Packages returned by the shipping carriers after their standard delivery attempt policy has expired will be treated as a refused package. If a package is returned, the Buyer/Receiver will receive a refund less all shipping charges that are charged by shipping carrier and are subject to all restock fees. Some shipping carriers do charge to return packages that are refused. To avoid this from occurring, the Buyer/Receiver must call the Shipping Carrier and make arrangements for the package to be picked up in the time allowed. If Buyer refuses to contact the shipping carrier and the package is returned, Buyer will receive a refund less all shipping charges that are charged by the Shipping carrier and are subject to all restock fees.
Shipping Damaged Items: All items shipped from Janvil are insured through the Shipping Carrier. If an item is received in damaged condition, the purchaser must report the damage to Janvil within 7 days of receipt of the item. Janvil will then process the claim according to the Shipping Carrier's insurance policy.
Methods of Payment: We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. We also accept payments from PayPal.
International Orders: Janvil accepts international money orders and Western union transfers only for orders shipped outside of the USA. Orders will be shipped via USPS Priority International mail. The email that you receive will have the final and correct pricing for items and shipping charges and how to make a payment.
Shopping: In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error, JANVIL shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. JANVIL shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, JANVIL will issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge.
Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify JANVIL’s acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of JANVIL’s offer to sell. JANVIL reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, JANVIL will issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge.
JANVIL reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order, without prior notice to you, to supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item. JANVIL may require additional verifications or information before accepting any order. JANVIL may automatically charge and withhold the applicable sales tax for orders. Otherwise, you are solely responsible for all sales taxes, or other taxes, on orders shipped to you.
THE JANVIL RETURN POLICY: JANVIL products may be returned for a refund within 30 days from the original purchase date. The purchaser must call JANVIL and receive a Return Authorization (RA) number and instructions before returning merchandise. Boxes without an (RA) number on the shipping label will not be accepted. Returns will only be accepted on items that are in "Brand New" resellable condition. Opened or used products can not be returned. Refunds on returned items are less shipping cost and are subject to a restocking fee of 30%. Returned items that are not in their original condition with their original packing materials and manuals will not be refunded and will be returned at the purchaser's expense. Defective items will be replaced at JANVIL's discretion. JANVIL will not be held liable or responsible for any incidental or consequential damage or loss associated with the use or misuse of any Janvil product.
